is this, or is this not, one of the most ridiculous things you have ever seen? 4 guys who don’t really know each other, wearing suits, sitting at a picnic table, drinking beer that is served to them by another guy in a suit, having awkward conversation while the entire white house press corps stands 50 yards off snapping and taping away. it’s an unnatural, scripted, preposterous piece of theater. and i’m sure both crowley and gates walked away feeling just as self-righteous about the incident as they did before.
