i haven’t done this reblogging thing yet, but i figured this was worth passing along. i also miss FJM greatly and think steve phillips is a blithering idiot, so i’m glad to see someone is out there doing the important fisking work that is so desperately needed these days. also, i knew beltran had been very good for quite a while, but i didn’t realize just how good. wow. i remember that incredible performance he had for houston in the 2004 postseason though, where he pretty much singlehandedly carried the team (hitting for a 1.500+ OPS with 14 RBI, 21 runs scored, and 6 SB in 12 games). that was pretty amazing to watch.
